Flint Mavis picked up his first guitar at around age 10 and hasn't looked back since. After playing in bands throughout the first few years of college, he studied at the world famous Musicians Institute in Hollywood while juggling bands and school. Flint has played countless shows in various bands throughout every major venue in California. He has done fill in and session work for a variety of successful local bands and solo artists while continuing to pursue his own musical direction. Flint has shared the stage with national acts like THE GOO GOO DOLLS, and has played & recorded with members of WASP, KEEL & IMPELLITTERI. An outstanding lead & rhythm player and a major presence on stage, Flint delivers the goods night after night. He also has a superb collection of guitars and amplifiers for the studio. Flint's style and influences range from 80-90's guitar rock, commercial fare like Collective Soul & Sheryl Crow all the way to ambient electronica. His style is a bit of cross between Zakk Wylde & Satriani Flint states, "I'm really excited to be in a band like Neverwonder, I've always wanted to make a living playing music I believe in. The idea of whoring myself out & playing whatever is popular at the time isn't something I could ever see myself doing. I have tremendous respect for music as an artform and believe it needs to played with that in mind. Vince, Dre & Joy are all very talented in their own right and making music with them comes very naturally. Of course we are each different people, but it comes together to make something that is bigger than the sum of its parts, and I think you can hear that on the CD."
